OUR STORY

Our journey began in 2004, when 2-Tone Entertainment was founded by current CEO Shaurav D’Silva. Initially formed as a Talent Management company, it soon diversified into a Publishing entity, representing the likes of Rudimental and Baby Blue, who both had breakthrough chart success in 2009. Shaurav continued to grow the company by joining forces with Universal Music label 3Beat Records as an A&R in 2009. Working across rappers Sway & Skepta as well as making key signings including Cashtastic, Stylo G, and future global chart stars Fuse ODG and Sigma. As an A&R at 3Beat/Universal Shaurav sold over 5 Million record sales including back-to-back No1s for Sigma followed by a gold album, and 3 x top 10 singles for Fuse ODG & a Silver certified album.

In 2016, 2-Tone expanded the publishing arm of writers and producers with the signing of rising writers AoD (Stormzy, J HUS, Tion Wayne) & 2Fvded (Young Bane, M Huncho, Ayem). This new publishing setup expanded on the current writer/producer roster that 2-Tone already represented on the management side with artist/songwriter Eyelar (Charli XCX, Demi Lovato) & producer Diztortion (Lethal Bizzle, Sean Paul, KSI).

In 2017 Shaurav left 3Beat to continue building 2-Tone Entertainment, deciding to grow the company through a label JV with Warner Music called “2TE Records”. Key signings under the JV included US rapper Saweetie, Puri's Dutch club smash Coño, garage producer Conducta, DJ & Producer Crazy Cousinz, London based producer Blinkie and East London rapper Asco.

In 2020, with 2-Tone Entertainment established as a fully independent record label, they decided to further strengthen their position in Publishing by forming a new joint venture with Stellar Songs - already home to the likes of Sam Smith, Charli XCX, David Stewart, Jessica Agombar and more. The venture would see the 2 companies combining rosters creating a formidable partnership in the world of songwriting and production.

2021 has already delivered great success with new signing Eight9Fly winning a Grammy with Kaytranada and achieving a Top 3 Single and No1 album with KSI.
